Today was a crazy day for me. I rolled down to Crossfit Santa Clara with my bro Tyler. Tyler and I decided to leave at 5am to get to the 7am work out. We definitely did not account for bay area traffic! We got lost turned around and found ourselves following a blue dot on his I phone. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to this! Well we finally arrived and got right into some squat cleans. Tyler really got down his form due to some killer coaching. I PR'd today at 215lbs. I failed at 230 but I’m sure I will get that by next week. The Wod was killer 3 rounds of 20 KB swings 53lbs. and 10 power snatch at 115lbs. RX. I got it done in 3:57 RX it was short but intense. Tyler finished right behind me and killed the work out also. We got great coaching from Rick Heilman of Crossfit Santa Clara, and I also had a chance to talk to coach Michel Bird from Crossfit High Voltage who happen to be working out there also. The opportunity to pick these guys brains about coaching and staying motivated was awesome! After the work out we were headed home and decided we would rather check out another gym while we were there. So we stopped in at Crossfit Moxie and met with Coach Chris and Ben owners of Crossfit Moxie. These guys were legit, and I am glad I got to meet them. Chris is the swim coach at San Jose State, and Crossfit swim cert. coach. Ben is the strength and conditioning coach for San Jose State. They were really cool to talk to and gather information about what makes them successful at their gym. All in all the day was a great learning experience and very fun! I love expanding my knowledge and checking out other place and how they train! The video footage for today’s blog is from San Diego in the Gas Lamp district. I was down there a couple of week ago, and I got to train at Crossfit Invictus, and Crossfit Socal. The most fun I had though was hitting a work out under the sun with my beautiful fiancĂ©e Micha. She also worked out with me that day, but the pull-ups were a lil to high for her!

Sac state pull-ups
So today I was at school and when I was on my way to lunch I found a cool place to hit some pull-ups! My buddy Jeff was the camera man for this adventure. I found out as soon as I got up there that the wood was extremely slippery and hard to grip. I still managed to get 5 with out falling. Find new places to train and let me know how it goes!

Pull-ups in Hawaii
Today was an awesome day! I got the opportunity to work out at Crossfit Rocklin. There was three different wod's and all of them were really hard. It was awesome to get pushed in a great environment! The link I'm posting for the video was shot at a bar in Hawaii. The bar was on the water at black rock. Not only did I get a chance to swim with some sea turtles, I found a cool spot to do some pull-ups. The world is a playground and you should always see it this way! Please share locations of cool places you think I should do some Pull-ups next!

This is my first post on the new blog. This is from the Health and Fitness Fair I held in Elk Grove. There was many inspiring events that day. This event was the Warriorz Throwdown. I know there are no pull-ups but thought this video was awesome!
